This past weekend Ivey League MMA’s head instructor Danny Ives traveled all the way to New England to take part in the ACG team championships held in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Danny’s good friend Dan Simmler called him and Ryan Hall and asked if they would come all the way up from Maryland to compete for Dan Simmlers team and to give them a better chance to win the overall team title. So Danny and Ryan packed up their gear and hit the road…
Danny won both his matches by straight footlock and both matches ended in under a minute. Ryan Hall also submitted both his opponents in under a minute. Team Simmler won the overall team title and the prize money, Congrats Danny and Ryan and to Team Dan Simmler!
Also competing this weekend were Matt Brannon and Rob “chuck Liddell” Tipton. They didn’t do as well as they had hoped but like we always say they went out there and fought their hearts out and that’s the most important thing, give it your best, win lose or draw. We’re still proud of you guys!
