Holden Murphy rounded out the weekend of competitions for Ivey League students with a Second Place finish at the Pan American Kids Championships. Holden was in a tough divison being in the Heavy Weight category even though he was only about 10 pounds over the minimum weight (there was no weight limit in this division). He took on the challenge whole-heartedly and performed well in his first international competition.
In the first match Holden won in a convincing fashion by points, 13-0. In his finals match, he was defeated by a student via armbar. Master Danny was very impressed by his efforts and happy to see Holden win 2nd place. Great job Holden!
