This Saturday Ivey League celebrated opening our new building with a Grand Opening event that truly was grand! We had over 60 guests turn out for open mat training with several guest instructors. For nearly 5 hours, students were able to learn jiu jitsu from Coach Danny Ives and wrestling from Coaches Mike Denny and Jim Kelly. Master Donnie Achnick brought several outstanding children competitors from the Camp Springs location for a grappling demonstration that was impressive, showcasing these rising stars’ abilities and showing exactly why Team Lloyd Irvin has world champion children. We then had open mat training including an exclusive rolling opportunity with Master Lloyd Irvin. After we all took our beatings from Master Lloyd and watched an enthralling match between Master Lloyd and Coach Danny, we called it a night.
