Congrats are in order to long time Ivey League Student & Instructor Rick Engelfried. Last night Rick received his blue belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
Rick’s been training for over 2 years. His game is a lot of triangles, heavy guard passing and turtle/half guard attacks. He’s made great progress in those 2 years that’s for sure.
It’s also a family thing as both him and his two kids take martial arts. In fact, both of his little ones, Shawn and Danielle, were in our 2011 kids martial arts summer camp.
Rick’s teaching the morning classes on Tuesday and Thursday and is one of the most liked students/instructors we have here at Ivey League MMA.
We couldn’t be happier for Rick! Well earned good sir.
