Congrats are due for little crazy man Brenden “Spike” Bill. Spike took home a first and second place medal at the Copa Nova tournament in northern Virginia. Spike finished 2 kids with armbars (a submission lock applied to the elbow joint) and one match via points. This was a big bounce back for Spike after his so so performance at the Naga Maryland. Coach Danny had a talk with Spike before the Copa and told him that when he competes he needs to put on a show and have fun, not worrying so much about winning and losing. Spike did just that and has some hardware to show for his efforts. Good work scream-o boy!
