I was watching some footage of old school Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters, and I found videos of Fabio Gurgel, architect of one of the best BJJ teams of all time, Alliance BJJ.
So you might have asked “who is Fabio Gurgel?” Well, like I said above, he is one of the head coaches of Alliance Jiu-Jitsu and all that, but he is also a former 2 time world champion Black Belt and has some high level MMA fights under his belt as well.
I had the pleasure of taking a seminar given by Fabio back in April of 1998 and it was an amazing experience. In fact, if you come into my academy you will see the photos from that seminar hanging on the wall.
