Hello everyone and welcome to Ivey League’s blog!
Lets start off talking about the move. Yes you heard right, Ivey League MMA is moving to a new, bigger and badder 8,500 Sq Ft facility!
The staff along with many of the great students have been helping to get the new place up to snuff. We hope to have everything up and running in mid September. That’s assuming the cards fall right.
In other news the kids tore it up in New Jersey at the NAGA event. We took 4 kids up there to compete in grappling and gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The kids brought back nothing less then silver! Pretty good for a group that’s mostly new students. Below is a list of who did what.
-Holden Murphy, Gold and Silver
-Alexia Lara, Double Gold Medals
-Jacob Miller, Double Silver Medals
-Spike Bill, Gold and Silver (First in Expert)
Oh and the adults did okay too with David Miller and Mark Stith taking bronze.
The kids doing so well is a direct reflection of the coaching staff and how hard they work. Teresa, Griffin, Dave, Ryan, Kelly, Matt, JJ and Mike do a fantastic job running the classes.
Last but not least. Seen the Kickboxing classes lately? Yeah the Muay Thai Kickboxing classes have been so packed and alive with energy it’s insane. In honor of that below are a killer MT Kickboxing video of Master Buakaw. This dude is amazing and you’d do well to watch and study his movements.
