So today I thought I’d post a video of Ivey League MMA student, Griffin Palmer. Griff is a professional stunt man and in the video you get to see some of the things he does (I admire his guts because some of that stuff is pretty hardcore)
Griffin is from Crofton, Maryland. He got into training with Ivey League because he wanted to get in better shape, have fun and learn some more martial arts. Having a background in MMA also helps these days for stunt work.
Griff helps teach the little ninja’s basics programs. He’s been training in Martial Arts his whole life and has a background in Kung Fu and Boxing. Griff recently got back from a 3 month tour in China were he was training for more stunts and working with other high level stunt men.
Since starting at Ivey League MMA back in October of 2009 he’s been picking up on the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Wrestling pretty fast. He says that he enjoys BJJ the most but don’t let him fool you, he can throw hands pretty well too.
Keep an eye on this guy, you might catch him in some major Hollywood movies one of these days, I’m sure jumping off a building or something crazy like that!
