How much time and effort is needed to master mix martial arts? The answer to that is a lot less time and effort then you probably think.
I assume you’ve got around 5-10 minutes a day that can be applied to your MMA skills. Wait a second, I’m not going to assume that because I know you do. Everyone does.
Everyone in the world today can find 5 to 10 minutes of extra time in their day. Time that can be set aside for a number of important things in your life. Right now I’m talking more specifically about your mix martial arts training.
More is always better of course but at the very minimum you can spare 5-10 minutes doing things like studying youtube videos, reading martial arts related books, a few short drills with hubby, wife, mom or dad.
The point I’m trying to drive home is that even with a crazy busy schedule (like mine) little things can be done that will 100% make you better.
I really hate the excuse “I just don’t have the time to workout”. I call BS on that one. If I can find the time so can you and everyone else. It ends up being more a matter of are you willing to find that time?
Again, I’m not just taking about your martial arts training. The same applies if you’d like to get in better shape, or write a book, or read to your children or anything else important in your life.
Let’s be honest, maybe you really don’t have hours upon hours of spare time floating around, I get that sure, but you know what, 5 minutes a day is still WAY better then nothing at all.
And you’ve got 5 stinking minutes dude!
And that’s what holds most people back from success, too many “nothing at all” days happen. I’ll be the first to admit that I wish I had more time to do the things that I either want or need (or both) to do in order to get better.
My whole thing is I make due with the time I’ve got. I try to get as much done as I can on any given day. Like I was saying, something is definitely better then nothing.
Avoid nothing at all costs!
Okay that’s my rant for today. Get out there and do something, even if it’s only for a few minutes. Trust me, it’s going to go a lot further then nothing will.
Check out some videos I posted below. Take 5-10 minutes of your time to study them.
