What’s Ivey League MMA schedule you might ask? No problem I say, click this link Ivey League MMA Full Schedule.

Moving forward…let’s take a closer look at what goes into a good martial arts schedule.

The way we here at Ivey League laid out our schedule is actually pretty detailed. Wait, let’s be clear…Very detailed! A good Mix Martial Arts School needs a schedule that can cover all areas of MMA, and without favoring one style over the other.

Most MMA Gyms here in Maryland still haven’t gotten this schedule thing down yet. At least not the ones I’ve seen. Too many places focus on one or two things and then flood the schedule with those types of classes.

A good schedule needs variety. It’s can’t be based on what the gym/school owner likes to do must, as often is the case 🙁

How The Ivey League MMA Schedule Came To Be…

It took us years to get the current schedule right. That’s one of the reasons why it doesn’t change. You see, once you find a class schedule that everyone likes, you don’t mess with it. I try never to fix something that’s not broken.

Miss Teresa Ives is seen here planning out the 2014 Ivey League MMA Schedule. Lots of planning took place don’t you worry!

An example of how the schedule at Ivy League MMA works goes as follows:

    Monday

    • 11:00am BJJ Fundamentals 101 (F101)
    • 4:30pm Tiny Ninjas F101
    • 5:30pm Little Ninjas F101
    • 6:30pm CAP Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)
    • 7:00pm Muay Thai Kickboxing F101
    • 8:00pm CAP Muay Thai Kickboxing Advanced

This gives you an idea of what a solid MMA schedule should look like. You want to cover a lot of different areas of the fight game. That and of course the kids and women’s only classes.

I can’t stress enough the amount of planning needed for a good schedule to come out. It’s a ton of freaking work. That and lots of trial and error along the way.

When it’s all said and done, I’ve got to admit it’s worth it. I’m super delighted with the Ivy League schedule finished result.

So, if you’re just getting around to maybe starting with some MMA classes, whatever the Dojo you check out, be sure to take a good look at the class schedule being offered. This is key.

It needs to work for you because if not, you’ll miss most of the classes anyway! Be a thinker not a stinker! Do your homework with the schedule.

    Have a super fantastic day!
