Marc Julian Wins Again!

Congratulations to our own Marc Julian on another fantastic win this past Saturday March 30th. Marc is now 2-0 in Amateur Boxing.

The fight took place again at Club 1 Fitness in Millersville, MD and again Ivey League packed the place. All you could see were our bright yellow Ivey League Boxing shirts. By the way, thanks to all that came out to support Marc. I know he very much appreciated everyone coming out.

Marc did great as usual. He did even better then his first fight, which had ended in a decision. This one ended with his opponent not being able to continue after the 2nd round.

1st round was pretty back and forth with Marc getting in some good body shots and overhands. At one point they had to give the other guy a 10 count.

The 2nd round is where all the damage was done. Marc hit him with some vicious body shots. You could hear some of them even with all the cheering and yelling from the crowd. We could all see that the guy was hurt and we pretty much knew the guy wasn’t going to continue.

After the fight Marc said he wanted to go another round so he could work the other side of the body he neglected.

In the end, it was a great night and a great win for Marc. We at Ivey League are very proud of him and know that he will go far with his hard work and determination.

On a side note, Marc will have his next fight May 11th at Club 1 Fitness. This time he will be on a card with mostly Pro fighters. So, lets fill the place up again with our yellow shirts and support his once again!
