Life is tough. I think most would agree with that statement. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine I know that.
As the saying goes, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. That pretty much means be prepared to make a whole lotta freaking lemonade. That’s life.
The question becomes: Are you prepared to make some tasty lemonade? Most aren’t.
But you know what? Is bump in the road really a bad thing? I don’t think so. Everyone needs to experience tough times at different points during their life.
Dealing with life’s problems, big or small, and learning to be tough and deal with difficult situations is part of what makes a champion a champion.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that it’s easy to find motivation when things are on the up and up and you’re kicking butt.
But you can’t always kick butt. Many times it’s the other way around, your butt gets kicked. When that happens (and it will), finding that same motivation isn’t easy.
This is where training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) can help.
MMA offers lots of great benefits, benefits that go far beyond punches, kicks and choke holds. The #1 benefit you gain from MMA is this: How to be tough.
The reality is MMA is tough. You go through Hard sparring sessions, sparring with guys (and gals) that hit like a mack truck.
Then you’ve got the grappling stuff, which is pretty much like human chess. except it’s the kind of chess that you get choked, arm locked, and twisted up like a pretzel doing.
Then there’s the other stuff like brutal running workouts, lifting weights, staying disciplined with your diet, all of this teaches you how to handle adversity in a cage or in the real world.
That’s the thing most people don’t understand but I’d bet you money a fighter does. The same toughness that enabled you to win in the cage also wins in life.
The bottom line is this: Tough is the tough, MMA or real world.
Let MMA Classes teach you how to be a tougher person. You’ll become the kind of person who embracing the grind and welcomes challenge.
I’ve included some cool workout videos below. Watch them and get a much needed dose of extra motivation.
